Warrensburg, Missouri.  Central Missouri State University.

The Missouri Center for the Book board held a reception honoring the Missouri 2016 Letters About Literature award winners at the James C. Kirkpatrick Library with children’s book author and poet David Harrison speaking. Letters About Literature is sponsored by the Library of Congress.  It is one of the Library's most popular events.  Listening to young people read letters they have written to their favorite authors always makes for an inspiring afternoon.  This year was no exception.  Marvelous!  Keep reading, writing and dreaming summer dreams.  Congratulations and thank you to all who participated.
